Nico Pittelli takes the top position on the AIM+ 16U Boys Leaderboard following the first qualifying weekend. Austin Decker, Henry Kim, Kai Jackson and Ezra Chairez complete the current Top 5.
The rankings are based on AIM+ Score, which reflects player production and efficiency across attacking, serving, setting, blocking and defense. This week’s group includes players from Vegas Aces 16-1, WAVE 15-Noly, COAST 16-Dave/Ian, Pulse 15-Daniel and APX Volleyball 16Josh.
Below is the current Top 5:
1. Nico Pittelli, Vegas Aces 16-1. AIM+ Score: 63.00
Pittelli leads the leaderboard after recording two kills on three attack attempts without an attacking error in one set. His .667 hitting percentage was the highest among the Top 5. He also contributed three service aces, one solo block, one block assist and one dig, finishing with six total points. His scoring came through attacking, serving and blocking.
2. Austin Decker, WAVE 15-Noly. AIM+ Score: 48.50
Decker recorded seven kills on 10 attack attempts across two sets, posting a .600 hitting percentage with just one attacking error. He added three service aces without a service error and one solo block, finishing with 11 total points. He also handled 10 receptions without a reception error and contributed one dig, placing him second on the leaderboard.
3. Henry Kim, COAST 16-Dave/Ian. AIM+ Score: 46.00
Kim takes the third position with seven kills and eight total points in one recorded set. He hit .556 on nine attack attempts and added one solo block, two digs and two receptions without a reception error. Attacking accounted for seven of his eight points.
4. Kai Jackson, Pulse 15-Daniel. AIM+ Score: 42.33
Jackson contributed 12 kills, four service aces and one solo block across three sets, finishing with 17 total points. His four aces led the Top 5, with no service errors recorded across 19 serves. He also posted a .348 hitting percentage and added 12 receptions, seven digs and one assist. His production in attack and from the service line helped him earn fourth.
5. Ezra Chairez, APX Volleyball 16Josh. AIM+ Score: 40.75
Chairez led the Top 5 in kills, receptions, digs and total points across four sets. He recorded 18 kills on 40 attack attempts for a .325 hitting percentage, alongside 19 receptions without a reception error and 12 digs. Two service aces brought him to 20 total points. His totals come from the largest recorded sample in the group, with the other players having between one and three sets recorded.
