Aaryan Shah gave APX Volleyball 15Rod plenty to celebrate during the October 3–4 weekend. Creating opportunities for teammates, keeping rallies alive and contributing at the net, the 14-year-old put together a weekend that showcased several dimensions of his game.
Against OCVC 16–Black on Saturday, Shah recorded eight assists alongside three kills and a dig. His distribution helped create attacking opportunities for APX, while his three kills added a scoring contribution of his own.
Sunday’s appearance against AV Impact B15Luis highlighted his defensive contributions. Shah collected nine digs and two blocks, pairing his work in the backcourt with a presence at the net. He also added three assists and another three kills.
Across the two matches, Shah totaled 11 assists, 10 digs, six kills and two blocks. With three kills in each appearance and contributions across four statistical categories, he built an encouraging early snapshot of his 2026–27 season.
The 5-foot-10 Cypress High School athlete, a member of the Class of 2030, is giving teammates and family plenty of moments to follow as his season unfolds.
